Marianne is creative and innovative, while her husband Henrik has a more structured approach and a passion for sales and marketing. In 2005 the dream became reality. The couple began to produce children’s shoes with a simple motto: good fit, high-quality materials and an innovative design. Natural materials

Depending on the type of boot, the lining of the boot is made of environmentally friendly leather, cotton, or wool, with the feet surrounded by pure natural materials. The rubber boots are made of natural rubber.

Sustainable production

Bisgaard boots are carefully handcrafted in Portugal and undergo more than 50 manual processes during production. With respect for nature, bisgaard is committed to sustainable production. Reused water and recycled paper are used.

Taking care of my Bisgaard rain boot

Bisgaard rain boots are made of high-quality natural rubber, a natural product that will last even longer if properly maintained. Natural rubber contains natural oils that make it soft and elastic. Natural rubber in rain boots gradually starts to dry out as the oils evaporate over time. That is why we recommend that you regularly care for and maintain your rain boots by treating them with oil. There are many great products on the market for treating rain boots. We recommend using products that do not contain silicone. You can even use household oils such as olive oil to care for the rain boots.

Tips for taking care of your Bisgaard rain boots

1. Impregnate your boots before using the boots, we recommend that you impregnate the boots with a natural oil product as mentioned above.

2. Clean the boots after use with a damp soft sponge or cloth. Possibly with a little washing-up liquid. Use a brush to clean the sole.

3. Let the boots air dry. If the boots have gotten wet, they should only dry in moderate heat. Do not place the boots on or next to a hot radiator, as this can dry out the rubber.
