In ’10 babywearing questions to’ we ask parents 10 questions about babywearing. This time we ask 10 questions to Lisse.
Lisse works as a writer and translator. Lives with her husband and 2 children; Wolff and Lotus.
Wearing Lotus close to me gives me such a good feeling. She lived for 9 months in my belly and it feels unnatural to not carry her after birth. I also noticed that she likes babywearing as much as i do. Having my hands free with a toddler around me is also a huge advantage of baby wearing.
The first days after birth i cuddled and held my daughter close in bed and at the couch. But when i started to go out, i directly started baby wearing. Practical and cosy.
As i mentioned above babywearing is ideal when you have a toddler and a little baby. Keeping her comforted and having my hands free for my son. But i also believe that is really important for a baby to be carried by his parents. It’s a natural feeling to have your baby close.
Babycarrier. The Tula Free to Grow is my mommy musthave! You can use it from birth up to toddlerhood and it’s easy to use. Two clicks and your ready to go. I find baby wraps or slings beautiful, but it’s wrapping is to much work for me. Especially when my daughter is crying and i want to comfort her quickly, the Tula is my best friend.
My daughter doesn’t like the stroller so i experience the benefits during every walk. Also walking my dogs wouldn’t be possible without the babycarrier.
Yes, my husband also uses the babycarrier to carry Lotus. He also did the same thing with our son.
I walk a lot with my children and our 2 dogs, around the forest nearby our home in Amersfoort. I enjoy these walks so much and i hope to pass this joy of walking through nature to our children.
I also like to go to kidscafés where my son can play, and i can sit with my daughter enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the meantime.
I enjoy baby wearing the most when i go walking outside. I love long walks and to carry my daughter with me while she is sleeping and fully relaxt in the carrier is very special to me.
I carried my son last year during our walk trough the France Alps, that is also one of my favorite babywearing moments.
Gladly no!
There it is again: The Tula Free to Grow! I just love this carrier and the looks and features are also nice. And carry your baby in the first three months as much as you can. You can’t spoil your child at this young age and it’s a safe and secure way for your baby to explore the world.
I nominate Marie @hutjeindestad
